Cross-country ski brand Inovik created a lookbook showcasing their Autumn-Winter 2024-2025 range, from entry level to improver, to their more advanced range.
This was a technical text detailing the composition of the ski, the core and grip (skins and scales), dimensions, sidecut camber and weight. This required research into the correct terms and an eye for detail, ensuring the figures and units were consistent. At the same time, the lookbook was designed to attract and engage, so I took note of the brand’s tone of voice and varied the language, conveying the difference between the different levels of skis in a more natural way than repeating ‘beginner’, e.g. ‘entry-level’, ‘for making your debut’.
